Estero is one of the newer communities in Lee County. Most of its homes were built from the late 1990s onward, in gated neighborhoods such as The Brooks, Pelican Sound, Grandezza, Stoneybrook, and Bella Terra. That means solid, modern construction, and it also means kitchens and bathrooms finished with whatever the builder offered at the time. Two decades on, plenty of those rooms are ready to be made personal.

Yes. Let your gatehouse or management office know that a contractor will be visiting, and share any community rules on working hours, parking, and deliveries when we meet for your estimate.

Is a builder-grade kitchen worth a full remodel, or should I just replace the countertops?

It depends on what bothers you. If the layout and cabinet boxes serve you well, a partial remodel with new countertops, backsplash, and lighting goes a long way. If storage, flow, or the island is the problem, a full remodel lets us redesign the room. We can walk through both during a free estimate.

Who issues building permits in Estero?

The Village of Estero issues permits for homes inside village limits, and Lee County handles Estero addresses outside them. Work that changes plumbing, electrical, or the structure of the home generally requires a permit, while purely cosmetic updates often do not.
